Bach: The Cello Suites; with author Edward Klorman and Matthew Zalkind, cello

This unique program will feature Edward Klorman, to present an in-depth exploration of beloved solo cello pieces, and Matthew Zalkind, to perform selections from the suites. An award-winning author, musician, and musicologist, Klorman has recently joined the faculty at UW-Madison, coinciding with the release of his new title, Bach: The Cello Suites from Cambridge University Press. Cellist Matthew Zalkind will perform selections from the suites, and present the virtuosic Suite No. 6 in its entirety.

The bar will open at 2:00pm with a selection of thoughtfully selected wines and cocktails which connect directly to the afternoon's program.
