DESCRIPTION:This unique program will feature Edward Klorman\, to present an in-depth exploration of beloved solo cello pieces\, and Matthew Zalkind\, to perform selections from the suites. An award-winning author\, musician\, and musicologist\, Klorman has recently joined the faculty at UW-Madison\, coinciding with the release of his new title\, Bach: The Cello Suites from Cambridge University Press. Cellist Matthew Zalkind will perform selections from the suites\, and present the virtuosic Suite No. 6 in its entirety.\n\nThe bar will open at 2:00pm with a selection of thoughtfully selected wines and cocktails which connect directly to the afternoon's program.
