Fairway Lounge in Fitchburg is seeking an energetic Bar Manager to lead our bar team and elevate the guest experience at our indoor golf simulator/bar/event facility. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Your leadership will drive the success of our bar, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, managing inventory, and fostering a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the bar team, including training staff on serving techniques, and Toast POS system.
- Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring efficient shift management and quick service delivery in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to maximize profitability.
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to maintain high-quality service.
- Handle cash management duties, including cash handling, reconciliation, and ensuring accuracy in transactions.
- Develop staff through ongoing training & development initiatives, fostering a positive team culture focused on hospitality excellence.
- Maintain a lively atmosphere by managing customer interactions and resolving issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Support the hiring process by interviewing candidates and selecting qualified team members aligned with our service standards.
Experience
- Proven management experience in food/drink service management or restaurant management roles.
- Demonstrated supervising experience with teams.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control practices, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis within the food/drink industry.
- Experience in managing small teams with a focus on customer service excellence and team leadership skills.
- Ability to handle cash accurately while maintaining high standards of hospitality and safety regulations.
Hours
- 2pm-11pm primary with rotating weekends.
Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
