Join us on February 26 for a special dinner featuring Schramsberg and Davies Vineyards. These two family-owned Napa Valley wineries each represent the top of their respective category: legendary sparkling wines from Schramsberg and classic reds from Davies. Laurent Sarazin, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Schramsberg, will be on hand to share these incredible wines and the stories behind them.
In 1965, the Davies set out to revive the historic Schramsberg estate with the goal of producing world-class sparkling wines. In that pioneering spirit, the 1965 Blanc de Blancs came to be, and would be the first commercial use of Chardonnay in American sparkling wine.
Wines to be poured:
Schramsberg Brut, Blanc de Blancs, North Coast, 2022
Schramsberg, Brut Rosé, Napa Valley, 2021
Schramsberg, J. Schram Noirs, North Coast, 2015
Davies Vineyards, Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, 2021
J. Davies, Cabernet Sauvignon, Diamond Mountain District, 2021
Recently named Chef in Residence of Four Winds Farm, Jon Rosnow will return to Four Winds for this dinner. His menus always feature locally grown or foraged produce and proteins, which he handpicks and preserves himself. Each wine will be thoughtfully paired with a dish to highlight its unique flavors and characteristics. Jay Hutchinson, former sommelier of Michelin-starred restaurants and now Director of Strategy & Business Operations at Four Winds Farm, will oversee wine service.
