Roll up your sleeves and join us at Waterford for our first hands-on evening of sushi making, sake, and seriously good food.
In this interactive class with Chef Jack Weingard of Omnomnivore, guests will learn the techniques behind creating sushi at home, from preparing and handling sushi rice to shaping nigiri and rolling classic maki. You’ll get hands-on experience making Shrimp Nigiri, Spicy Tuna Rolls, and California Rolls, then enjoy the sushi you’ve created.
And because this is Waterford, we’re bringing the drinks! Throughout the class, we’ll explore a curated selection of sake pairings and discover how different styles complement the flavors, textures, spice, and richness of sushi.
We’ll finish the evening on a sweet note with an Asian-inspired dessert and a final pairing.
