G5's founding brewer Tim Goers has been residing in the Madison area for almost 20 years and brewing beer for about half of that time. In 2016 Tim left the education world, having felt the creative calling to pursue the life of a brewer and hasn't looked back. With the opportunity to start from day one with G5, Tim has had the ability to steer the brewing operation in whatever direction he sees fit. His approach to brewing is simple: use the best, highest quality ingredients, make delicious and interesting beers and create a fun and inclusive environment for everyone and their unique taste buds.

In this in-depth session, we'll be focusing on the grains that go into beer, and what makes sourcing grains from Wisconsin unique. We'll also be focusing on IPAs and comparing some of G5's offerings with the classic styles that started the Hop Head trend. And we won't forget to try some exciting seasonal offerings as well.
