What could help your nonprofit fulfill its purpose? Are there areas you’ve identified to strengthen? Are you unsure where to start? The Center for Community and Nonprofit Studies (the CommNS) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison offers up-to-date knowledge, practices, and collaborative partners to assist local nonprofits in advancing their efforts.
The CommNS connects the nonprofit community with scholars and students, offers a certificate program for nonprofit professionals, and through the Co-Create team, provides customized consultation services for nonprofit organizations with a specialty in nonprofit program evaluation.
In this session, you’ll learn more about the CommNS and the Co-Create team and engage in conversation to identify areas of opportunity for enhancing your nonprofit organization. The CommNS will offer tips and tools developed from their experience working with a range of organizations to go beyond "management" to ensure that organizations take action to be effective in addressing the "why" of their work.
Presented by the Center for Community and Nonprofit Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison: • Mary Beth Collins, Executive Director • Laura Evans, Doctoral Candidate
