Develop Your Emotional Protective Equipment During the Pandemic
DreamBank-Madison
During COVID-19 our lives have become increasingly disrupted requiring us to put many of our dreams on the back burner as we adjust to a new normal. A different skill set is needed to adapt and thrive to keep our dreams moving forward. Developing your Emotional Protective Equipment (EPE) is essential to staying resilient during these unprecedented times. Dr. Shilagh Mirgain, a clinical psychologist, will explore practical skills rooted in mindfulness and self-compassion to manage stress during the pandemic effectively. She will explore powerful practices to improve mood, lower anxiety and foster greater well-being through learning to direct kindness and care towards ourselves and others. Cultivating compassion during this collective experience ignites and keeps the spark of dreams alive.
