Concerts At McKee welcomes Los Chechos as the August 2021 headliner!
Los Chechos honors danceable grooves from Latin America and the Caribbean in their own Midwestern way. The playfully recreate pop classics from cumbia, ska, reggae, rock, as well as original compositions. Language is no barrier, as Ecuadorian frontman Alejandro Punbra sings in Spanish, English, Portuguese, and French. Backing him are some of Madison's musical finest, featuring members of the Handphibians, Immigre, Metabaque, Panchromatic Steel, Samba Novistas, and the No Name String Band.
Concerts at McKee is a Party in the Park for everyone! MADISON MUSIC FOUNDRY's Youth Band is at 6:00pm, and Los Chechos will take the stage at 7:00pm.
Food trucks from local vendors, beverages and beer are available or pack a picnic and bring family, friends and co-workers. It is the best way to spend a summer Monday night!
