Camp Biotech II: The Wonders of Protein
This one-week experience at the BTC Institute will be for students entering 9th - 12th grade in fall semester 2026 who have taken 1 year of high school biology OR Camp Biotech I and are interested in learning more about genetic engineering and proteins. We will be using genetic engineering to create bacteria with new traits, analyze DNA sequences, design protein expression experiments and/or learn how to extract proteins from cells. Of course, it wouldn’t be Camp Biotech without plenty of guest speakers.
