The 2026 International Forum on Consciousness explores the many ways intelligence and awareness manifest beyond conventional cognition. The theme centers on other ways of knowing—forms of perception and insight that emerge through intuition, embodiment, neurodiversity, animal and plant cognition, indigenous and Eastern contemplative traditions, altered states, and even emerging artificial intelligence.
