DESCRIPTION:Four Winds Farm's wine dinner series continues this month with a deep dive into the Loire Valley.\n\n\n\nSample white wines that range from bracing and invigorating to deep and richly textured\, lively reds that are full of energy and character\, and one legendary sweet wine from a winery approaching its 100th anniversary.\n\n\n\nThis diverse region unfolds along France's longest river\, creating uniquely varied terroirs rich in winemaking history   dating back to the 1st century!\n\n\n\nWe have selected bottles from the most storied\, classic wineries in the region\, benchmarks from which to launch your own future explorations. Tom Loup of Vino Veritas will be on hand to share from his personal experiences with the wines and wineries.\n\n\n\nWines to be poured:\n\nLucien Crochet\, 2023 Sancerre "La Croix du Roy"\n\nOlga Raffault\, 2012 Chinon Blanc "Champ Chenin"\n\nDomaine de Pallus\, 2020 Chinon "Le Clos de Pallus"\n\nDomaine des Closiers\, 2021 Saumur-Champigny "Les Courdraies"\n\nDomaine Huet\, 2020 Vouvray Moelleux 1ere Trie "Le Mont"\n\n\n\nMenu to be announced soon\n\n\n\nRecently named Chef in Residence of Four Winds Farm\, Jon Rosnow will return to Four Winds for this dinner. His menus always feature locally grown or foraged produce and proteins\, which he handpicks and preserves himself. Each wine will be thoughtfully paired with a dish to highlight its unique flavors and characteristics. Jay Hutchinson\, former sommelier of Michelin-starred restaurants and now Director of Strategy & Business Operations at Four Winds Farm\, will oversee wine service.\n\n\n\nThis experience has a set menu.
