Bicycles are donated to Bike for Kids by the public throughout the year\, then they are refurbished by volunteers and tuned up by staff to ensure safety before being distributed. \n\n\n\nThe Everything Bikes Sale supports programming and the costs to maintain a 12\,000 sq. ft. bike center. The organization has now distributed over 13\,000 bicycles in Dane County and beyond since their first bike giveaway event in 2017. They have also prevented over 84\,000 pounds of materials going into the landfill through their free Community Bike Disposal Program. Bikes for Kids is seeking sponsors of this event.
